Special Sessions


To enhance the technical program and open the door to specific topics and areas, CiLOG 2014 will include Special Sessions, in addition to regular announced ones. A Special Session will last one hour with 4 oral contributions (15 minutes each one). It can cover subjects or cross-subjects belonging to the topics of interest, or novel topics related with the ones identified within the topics of interest. Submission procedure for special session papers will be as for regular papers.
How to propose a special session
If you are interested in organizing a special session, please contact Special Sessions Chairman Professor Gaston Cedillo (Mexico). What to put in your special session proposal:

1.Title of the session;

2.Topic and technical outline of the session (100 word max);
3.Name of possible contributing authors;
4.Names, resumes, e-mail and contact addresses of the organizers (Special Session organizers must attend the CiLOG 2014 conference).
No nomination will be considered without these items.
Please use the templat e for submitting your proposal to Special Session Chairman (see the annex). The official conference language for papers is English, and for oral presentations are both English and Spanish. Simultaneous interpretation services won't be available.


Review process
The papers of Special Sessions focusing on special topics relevant to the conference tracks are subject to normal review process handled through the conference paper submission system. Persons wishing to organize a Special Session should submit a proposal (See the annex) to Special Session Chairman Gaston Cedillo:             gaston.cedillo [@] mexico-logistico.org.
Important dates
The submission by mail will be open for Special Session proposals April 11th, 2014. Authors of Special Session submissions will be notified of acceptance two weeks after submitting their proposal.
Rejected Special Session papers will not be considered for regular sessions.

The decision of the Technical Program Committee is final.

The deadline for submitting applications is May 31, 2014
